Kathleen Rose Gade Obituary

With profound sadness, we say goodbye to Kathleen Rose Gade of Emmetsburg, Iowa, whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. Kathleen Rose left this world on November 7, 2024 at the age of 98, leaving a void in the lives of so many people. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

She was predeceased by: her mother Edna Maahs (Kuecker); her husband Milford Gade; her father George Maahs; her parents-in-law, Werner and Emma Gade; her children, Milford Gade Jr., Marlin Dean Gade, Cynthia Laubenthal and Merle Gade; her sons-in-law, Jerome Laubenthal and Darrell Morgan; and her siblings, Don Maahs, Bill Maahs, Eileen Emory, Richard Maahs, Julie Pettit and Robert Maahs.

She is survived by: her daughters, Colleen Thilges (Don) of Emmetsburg and Carla Morgan of Emmetsburg; her daughter-in-law Kathy Gade of Algona; and her siblings, Paul Maahs (Le Ann) of Otsego, MN, Ellen Manly of McAllen, TX and Marilyn Dietrich of Spencer.

Visitation was held on Tuesday, November 12th 2024 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Peace Lutheran Church (703 2nd Ave SE, West Bend, IA 50597). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, November 13th 2024 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the same location.

Memorials may be made in Kathleen's name and directed to Diabetes Foundation of Iowa or Lutheran Hour Ministries.
