George A. Tonderum Obituary
We are sad to announce that on February 11, 2024, at the age of 90, George A. Tonderum of Emmetsburg, Iowa passed away. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of George A. Tonderum to pay them a last tribute.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Isabella Tonderum (Clemitson) and Gustav Tonderum; his wife Shirley Herke; and his siblings, Curt Tonderum, Harlan Tonderum, Benny Tonderum, Mavis Wilson, Marian Wilson and Linda Wilson.
He is survived by: his children, George Michael "Mick" Tonderum (Colleen) of Emmetsburg, Dave Tonderum (Mary) of Emmetsburg, Deb Wickman (Jim) of Emmetsburg and Jim Tonderum (Rachelle) of Emmetsburg, Iowa; his friend Elsie Realini of Canada; and his siblings, Gordon Tonderum (Rosie) of Spencer, Roger Tonderum (Lynn) and Ione Johnson of Estherville, Iowa. He is also survived by 14 grandchildren; 15 great grandchildren, nieces and nephews; as well as many other relatives and friends.
