We are sad to announce that on September 27, 2023, at the age of 101, Genevieve Reinders of Emmetsburg, Iowa, born in Mallard, Iowa passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Robert "Ed" Kendall and Anna Kendall (Kirtz); her husband Elmer Reinders; her granddaughter Sarah Kelly; her son-in-law Arnie Hersom; and her siblings, Glenn, Eugene, Jerry Kendall, Monica Bohn, Elvita Duis, Mary Brechler, Alice Kneble, Bertilla Andersen, Virginia Peters and Francis Wills.
She is survived by: her children, Greg Reinders (Jackie) of Underwood, Claudia Reinders (Arleen) of Laredo, Angela Nehring (Ray) of Laurens and Doug Reinders of Emmetsburg, Iowa; her grandchildren, Joey, Andy, Holly, Brett, Jennifer, Breck, Josh and Heidi; her daughter-in-law Julie Reinders; her sister Pearl Hood of Emmetsburg, Iowa; and her close friend Deb Lee. She is also survived by 18 great grandchildren, many other relatives and friends.
