She was predeceased by: her parents, John Donahue and Mary Donahue (Miller); her husband Leo Gilman; and her sisters, Bernice Curry (Ira), Pat Higgins (Dick), Ruth Leonard (Leo), Mary Hypes (George) and Bernett Leonard (John).
She is survived by: her children, Kathy Goeders (Leo) of Emmetsburg, Joe Gilman (Lori) of Spencer, Kevin Gilman of Emmetsburg and Jan McCombs (Don) of Graettinger, Iowa. She is also survived by eleven grandchildren; twenty three great grandchildren; one great-great grandchild; many nieces and nephews; as well as other relatives and many friends.
