It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Curt Berkland (Emmetsburg, Iowa), who passed away on February 11, 2023, at the age of 59, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his mother Justine "Joan" Berkland (Mosher). He is survived by: his wife Lisa Kay Gross; his daughter Mackenzie of Ruthven, Iowa; his grandson Matt; his children, Lisa of Ruthven, Iowa and Matt of Ruthven, Iowa; his father Eugene "Gene" Berkland of Ruthven, Iowa; his siblings, Dan Berkland (Loretta) of Sibley, Iowa and Lori Calkins (Bob) of East Chain, Minnesota; his parents-in-law, Roger and Joanne Gross of Jefferson, Wisconsin; and his siblings-in-law, Lucy, Rick Bergman of Lake Geneva, Sue and Brad Meng of Cottage Grove, Wisconsin. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews, cousins, aunts and uncles; and many friends.
