She was predeceased by: her parents, William Bruhn and Wihelmina Bruhn (Hansen); her husband Philip; her daughter Marsha Van Genderen; and her siblings, George Bruhn, Herbert Bruhn, Edna Nissen and Louise Philpott.
She is survived by: her children, Maria Hertel (Troy) of Wichita, Michelle Kogel (Shayne) of Emmetsburg, Iowa and Mark Stillman of Emmetsburg, Iowa; her grandchildren, Joshua (Andrea), Natalie (Jordan), Megan, Kinsey, Kyle, Kourtney and Kysen; and her brother William "Bill" Bruhn (Louise) of Manning, Iowa. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews; as well as other relatives and friends.
Memorials may be given to Horizon's Unlimited in Emmetsburg.
