She was predeceased by: her parents, Chester Kadel and Elsie Kadel (Yocum); her husband John Gage; her sons, Alan Gage and Mitch Gage; her grandson Monty Evans; and her siblings, Faye Kadel, Floyd, Ervin, Elmer, Don, Earl and Raymond Kadel.
She is survived by: her children, Jerry Gage (Eleanor) of Osceola, IA, Dixie Strange (Doug) of Red Oak, IA, Dale Gage (Bonnie) of Emerson, IA, Ron Evans (Bev) of Orem, UT, Joy Evans of Nevada, Denzil Gage (Debbie) of Glenwood, IA and Marlin Gage (Peggy) of Emerson, IA; and her daughter-in-law Karen Gage of Onawa, IA. She is also survived by 22 grandchildren; many, many great grandchildren; and many other relatives and friends.
Memorials are suggested to the Emerson Fire and Rescue Association, Emerson United Methodist Church or the Animal Alliance Rescue and Shelter of Red Oak, Iowa.
