He was predeceased by: his parents, Cloe Nettie (Stogdill) and Ralph Oscar Hedlund; his son Claude William; his wife Leona; his son Darrell Hedlund; his son-in-law Kevin Trigg; his brothers, Leonard Hedlund and Larry Hedlund (Joann); and his brother-in-law Geary Crom.
He is survived by: his children, Lloyd Hedlund, Jr. (Rosie) of Moorcroft, WY, Paul Hedlund of Emerson and Cheryl Trigg of Moorcroft; his siblings, Vera Crom of Plattsmouth, NE, Lee Hedlund (Luella) of Bellevue, NE, Lonnie Hedlund (Retha) of Pennsylvania and Lyle Hedlund (DeDe) of Florida; and also, Lonnie, Joe, Doug, Stacy, Debbie, Brian and Michael. He is also survived by numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren, great-great grandchildren, and great-great-great grandchildren.
