Viola R. Zahradnik Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Viola R. Zahradnik of Ely, Iowa, who passed away on January 27, 2025 at the age of 95. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, William Faltis and Olga Faltis (Dobrovsky); her husband Lumir Zahradnik; her daughter Linda Kvapil (Dave); and her siblings, William Faltis (Helen) and Mae Novotny (Frank).
She is survived by: her sons, Ron Zahradnik (Sandi) of Ely and Larry Zahradnik of Fallbrook, California; and her grandchildren, Jared Kvapil (Stacey), Ryan Zahradnik (Kelly), Brandon Zahradnik, Daniel Zahradnik (Lucy), Gayla Johnston (Eddie) and Gloria Zahradnik. She is also survived by nine great-grandchildren.
A memorial service will be held on Monday, February 17th 2025 at 10:30 AM at the First Presbyterian Church (11100 Spanish Rd, Ely, IA 52227).
