She was predeceased by: her parents, Joe Herman and Emma Herman (Dostal); and her siblings, Don Herman, Dorothy Roman, Irene Herman and Gary Herman.
She is survived by: her children, Dennis Freeman of Cedar Rapids, IA and Kelly Porter (Gary) of Ely, IA; her grandsons, Brad, Greg (Lindsay) and Ed Tlusty; her great grandchildren, Ashton, Avery, Ainsley, Truett and Kayla; and her brother Steve Herman (Cindy Martin) of Cedar Rapids, IA.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in her name to the Cedar Valley Humane Society, and or Unity Point Hospice.
