Karen Vlasek Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Karen Vlasek (Ely, Iowa), born in Jefferson, Iowa, who passed away on March 6, 2020, at the age of 75, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Floyd Shain and Dorothy Bird; and her brother-in-law Phil Zumwalt. She is survived by: her husband Jim Vlasek of Ely; her children, Angie DuBois (Joe) of Chardon, Greg Vlasek (Vickie) of Cedar Rapids and Julie Ozmun (Marc) of Swisher; her sister Susan Zumwalt; her nephew Kirk of Pennsylvania; and her grandchildren, Evan DuBois, Paul DuBois, Gavin Ozmun, Makayla Ozmun, Will, Wyatt and Weston Vlasek.
