It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Ida Mae Harford of Ely, Iowa, born in Cedar Rapids, Iowa, who passed away on February 16, 2024, at the age of 88, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Howard Bye and Jean Bye (Wescott); her husband Lauren Leo Harford; her daughter-in-law Marian Harford; her aunt Peggy Hergert; and her brother-in-law Jim Olver.
She is survived by: her children, Raymond Harford, George Harford (DeVonne), Charlotte "Charlie" Zach (James) and Doug Harford; her grandchildren, Jennifer Witte, Justin Harford, Julie Dietz (Cass), Maria Yuska (Paul), Missy Harford and Pat Harford (Misty); her great grandchildren, Caitlin, Noah, David, Katarina, Gavin, Lincoln, Lilly and Sawyer; her great great grandchild Easton; and her sister Carol Olver.
In lieu of flowers memorials may be directed to the Lamont Volunteer Fire Department Foundation or Common Grounds in her name.
