It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Gloria Malatek (Ely, Iowa), who passed away on April 12, 2018, at the age of 59, leaving to mourn family and friends. She is survived by : her husband Pat; her children, Jessica Carter (Dan) and Brad Malatek (Kayla) of Ely; her grandchildren, Jade Carter and Gaby Carter; her nephews, Collin Velky and Justin Velky; her siblings, Brian Velky (Karrie), Charlie Velky (Julie), Emil Velky Jr. and Cheryl Velky; and her siblings-in-law, Tom Malatek (Pat), Lois Cooling (Lloyd), Sheryl Tjelmeland (Allen) and Sue Schulte (Jesse). She is also survived by her many nieces, nephews and cousins.
