He was predeceased by: his parents, Henry "William" and Stella Klinsky (Novak); his wife Darlene; his son Kenneth Klinsky; his grandson Jason Jensen; his siblings, Carl Klinsky and Florence Kadlec; and his brother-in-law Edmond "Sunk" Jones.
He is survived by: his daughters, Shirley Mott (Douglas) of Batavia and Linda Jensen of Cedar Rapids; his daughter-in-law Diane Polton (Mike) of Ely; his grandchildren, Dennis Klinsky (Amy), Lisa Knutson (Nathan), Eric Mott, Andrew Mott and Tyson Jensen (Christa); his great grandchildren, Miriam, Anna, Lydia, Edith Knutson, Kaylee Klinsky and Benedict Knutson; his siblings, Harold Klinsky (Dorothy) of Cedar Rapids and Ellen Jones of Ely; and his siblings-in-law, Don Kadlec and Shirley Diehl (Don) of Coralville. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
