It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Aloysius Boeding of Ely, Iowa, born in Waucoma, Iowa, who passed away on May 26, 2022, at the age of 88, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Henry J. Boeding and Alvira E. Boeding (Naber); and his siblings, Herman (Coletta), Leo (Edith), Linus (Joyce), Rita Thys (John), Virginia Wise (Harvey), Mary Elaine, Francis (Lois), RoseAnn Davis (Gary) and Dorothy Lovetinsky (Wayne).
He is survived by: his wife Patsy Rompot; his children, Christopher Boeding (Denise) and Cathy Bruni; his grandchildren, Cristal Holubar (Tom), Jessica Boeding, Daniella Bruni, Jon Boeding (Courtney), Joshua Boeding and Joe Bruni; and his sisters, Laura Behning (Allen) and Janet Wilhelm (Tom). He is also survived by many nieces, nephews and other family members.
Memorials may be directed to the Alzheimer's Association, Oldorf Hospice House of Mercy, Saint Wenceslaus Catholic Church or a charity of the donor's choice.
