He was predeceased by: his parents, Stanley Hale and Lina Hale (Siegel); his brother-in-law Bill Alday; his father-in-law Paul Lange, Sr. (Kate); and his pets, Tausha and Roxie.
He is survived by: his wife Kay Hale of Ely; his daughters, Jennifer Buresh (John) of Ely, Kristen Hale of Cedar Rapids and Amanda Chase (Nic) of Cedar Rapids; his grandchildren, Dillon Brunscheen (Haley), Drake Brunscheen, Bryce Buresh, Braden Buresh, Keelen Hale (Heaven Mcintosh) and Colin Hale (Hunter Hahn); his great grandchildren, Dawson, Lillyana and Harper; his sister Karen Alday of Cedar Rapids; and his brother-in-law Paul Lange (Sue) of Lisbon, Iowa. He is also survived by four nieces and one nephew.
