He is survived by: his wife Carol Wirth of Elwood, IA; his daughters, Pam Loschiavo (Joe) of Port Jefferson, NY and Jane Samec (Chris) of Bettendorf, IA; his stepchildren, Bill Benton of Durant, IA, Brett Benton (Jackie) of Phoenix, AZ and Darcie Sly (Paul) of St. Louis, MO; his grandchildren, Christine Sammy (Ryan), Shannon Siegel (Frank), Wold and Ellie Samec; his stepgrandchildren, Alex Benton, Cami Benton, Katie Benton, Lydia Sheehan and Harlan Sheehan; and his great grandchildren, Gavin, Clara, Callum and Jackson.
