It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Oliver Gunderson of Elma, Iowa, born in Harmony, Minnesota, who passed away on July 4, 2023, at the age of 86, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, John Gunderson and Gladys Gunderson (Halverson); his former wife Carole Ann Welch; his son Jeffrey Oliver Gunderson; and his brother David Gunderson.

He is survived by: his wife Leigh Gunderson of Elma, IA; his stepdaughter Rachel Boyle (Heather Schweikhardt) of Houston, TX; his brother Ken Gunderson (Muriel) of Harmony, MN; and his sister-in-law Jody Gunderson of Savage, MN. He is also survived by many cousins, nieces, and nephews.
