He was predeceased by: his parents, Elby Swancutt and Mary Swancutt (Greeley); and his siblings, Niles, Maynard, Charles, Lois and Donna.

He is survived by: his wife Della Swancutt of Elma, IA; his children, Shawn Swancutt (Jennifer) of Elma, IA and Shellie Swancutt (Rocky Mayer) of Riceville, IA; his grandchildren, Amanda, Ambrielle, Hanna and Alexa; his great grandchild Logan; and his sister Shirley Swancutt of Riceville.

Memorials may be directed to the family.
