He is survived by: his wife Elaine; his children, Tom Wacha (Karen) of Texarkana, Dan Wacha (Marni) of Elma, Kenny Wacha (Michelle) of Huxley, Iowa, Peg Moses (James) of Urbandale, Karen Karsjens (Grant Goodale) of Hiawatha, Nancy Mariner (Steve) of Mason City and Kathy Wacha of Elma, Iowa.; his sisters, Veronica Roth (Tom) and Virginia Curry (Harv); his sister-in-law Paula Farrington (Koenigsfield); his grandchildren, Michael Wacha (Sarah), Lucas Wacha (Sam), Brette Wacha, Charley Clapsaddle, Molly Thomas, Jade Rogers (Mary), Lexi Rogers (Noel), Jaylon Moses, Whitney Blaas (Adam), Lindsay Karsjens, Haley Karsjens (Kraig), Megyn Reindl (Avery), Abby Mariner (Justin), Parker Mariner (Lia), Max Wacha (Vanessa), Mayson Wacha (Jace), Molly Wacha (Jay), Kandice Porter (Eric), Jason Porter, Nick Wacha, Jack Wacha, Olivia Wacha and Leo Wacha; and his great grandchildren, Carson, Bentley, Solomon, Marcia, Jacklyn, Chandler, Chase, Wynsten, Jett, Lincoln, Beckham, Henry and Harvey. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Sunday, February 9th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the Hugeback-Johnson Funeral Home - Elma (508 Maple St, Elma, IA 50628). A Mass was held on Monday, February 10th 2025 from 10:30 AM to 11:30 AM at the Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church (17511 Lourdes Rd, Elma, IA 50628).
