He is survived by: his wife Patricia Pitz of Elma, IA; his children, David Pitz (Kristen) of Ionia, IA, Ryan Pitz (Allison Lehnen) of Waterloo, IA and Jennifer Smith (Troy) of Elma, IA; his grandchildren, Ashton Pitz, Lux Smith, Tatum Smith, Brennen Pitz, Layton Pitz and Finnley Pitz; his sister Ronda Tufte (Gordy) of Dumont, IA; and his sister-in-law Julie Pitz of Decorah, IA.. He is also survived by family and friends.
