He is survived by: his wife Millie of Elma, IA; his children, Tammy Cochran (Lee) of Newton, IA and Tony Whitinger of Tuscon, AZ; his grandchildren, Shelbey Cochran of Newton and Jesse Cochran of Iowa City, IA; and his siblings, Robert Whitinger (Connie) of Ankeny, IA, Joe Whitinger (Kathy) of Elma, IA and Marlene Lewis of Cresco, IA.
