He was predeceased by: his parents, Ray Pitz and Paulette Pitz (Howe); and his granddaughter Jayden. He is survived by: his significant other Karla Crain of Elma, IA; his son Chris J. Pitz of Cresco, IA; his stepsons, Jonathon Crain (Lisa) of Elma, IA, Ryan Crain (Jennifer) of Hesper, IA and Charlie Crain of Elma, IA; his grandchildren, Sophia, Jace, Slade and Zander; his siblings, Shelly Glock (Kerry), Karen Tieskoetter, Gary Pitz (Ann), Teri Blaylock (Ty) and Rusty Pitz (Laura); his father-in-law Don Numedahl (Cheryl) of Decorah, IA; his pet Lacey; and also, Jonathon, Ryan and Charlie. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews and extended family.
