He was predeceased by: his parents, Genevieve Kuhfus (Hendrickson) and Carroll Kuhfus. He is survived by: his wife Joan Kuhfus; his daughters, Michele Loomis and Staci Kuhfus; his grandchildren, Matt Loomis (Erika) and Hannah Chung (Jason); and his great grandchildren, Joseph and Sage. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Visitation was held on Sunday, April 27th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Trinity Lutheran Church (1629 Dewitt St, Ellsworth, IA 50075). A funeral service was held on Monday, April 28th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
