He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife Melissa; his children, Julie Beattie of Springfield, IL, Talitha Beattie (Hansol) of Durham, NC, Fidei Whitehead (Tyler) of Waterloo, IA, Matthias Beattie of Carlise, IA and Geralyn Anderson of Audubon, IA.; his parents, Dennis Beattie (Emily) of Merillan, WI and Judy Schafer (David) of Cape Coral, FL; his mother-in-law Jacquelyn Hill of Ellsworth, IA; his sister Kirstin Beattie (Joseph) of Racine, WI; his stepsiblings, William Johnson (Lillian) of Merillan, WI and Suzette Turk (Scott) of Merillan, WI; and his brothers-in-law, Matthew Hill of Grimes, IA and Marcus Hill (Amy) of Bondurant, IA. He was also cherished by many nephews, nieces, uncles, aunts, cousins, and dear friends.
