It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Ted Derscheid (Ellston, Iowa), who passed away on April 2, 2022, at the age of 72, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his father Dick Derscheid; and his brother Paul Derscheid. He is survived by: his mother Hester Derscheid (Stanford) of Ellston, IA; his son Todd; his wife Nancy; his daughters, Amy Davis of Jacksonville, FL and Rachel Derscheid (Jon Staron) of Collins, IA; his grandchildren, Marcus Davis, Alex, Cori, Daria Derscheid, Kestrel and Fisher Staron; his siblings, Ray Derscheid (Debra) of Ellston, IA, Sally Woodley (Gary) of Clarion, IA, Dale Derscheid (Sue) of Ankeny, IA and Scott Derscheid of Delphos, IA; and his mother-in-law Gladys Blois of Council Bluffs, IA. He is also survived by in-laws, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
