It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Shirley McAlexander of Ellston, Iowa, who passed away on October 28, 2020, at the age of 69, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her brother Jerry McAlexander; and her grandparents, Ora, Riley McAlexander, Leland, Donna Walters, Helen and Ray Meier.

She is survived by: her parents, Kenneth McAlexander and Virginia McAlexander of Beaconsfield; her siblings, Larry McAlexander (Cathleen) of Prairie and Deborah Van Horn (Dan) of Bloomfield; and her sister-in-law Rosalie McAlexander of Beaconsfield. She is also survived by many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and many friends.

In lieu of flowers, memorials are to the Beaconsfield Methodist Church, Mount Ayr Health Care Center and Every Step Hospice.
