It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Robert Dale Blay of Elliott, Iowa, born in Atlantic, Iowa, who passed away on February 7, 2021, at the age of 83, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, William Blay and Ethel Blay (Johnson); his siblings, Billy Blay (Marie), Raymond Blay, Frank Blay, Larry Blay, Esther Russ (Leo) and Marie Fox (Royal); and his brothers-in-law, Dale Elwood, Cliff Houtchens, William Elwood, Ira "Ike" Elwood, Joseph Elwood (Dorothy), Warren Elwood (Virginia) and Robert Elwood.
He is survived by: his former wives, Mary Smith and Judith Elwood; his wife Judy Blay of Villisca, IA; his children, Bill Blay (Jill) of Burlington Junction, MO and Brenda Blay (Mark Scanlan) of Braddyville, IA; his grandchildren, Tyler Blay, Riley Blay, Colton Blay and Kelsi Vannausdle; his great grandchild Brysen Lawrence; his sisters, Jane Elwood and Ruby Houtchens; and his siblings-in-law, Donna Blay, Carolyn Blay, Dolores Blay, Mary Kille, Jean Pope, Linda Gute (Vern), Sandy Elwood, Gordon Elwood (Mary) and Ed Elwood (Vicki).
