He was predeceased by: his parents, John Lewis, Jr. and Phyllis Lewis (Christensen); his son Denny Lewis; and his sister LaVonne. He is survived by: his nephew Jeff Harris; his wife Deana Lewis of Elliott; his son Joe Lewis (Kim) of Red Oak, IA; his grandsons, Darrin Lewis of Papillion, NE, Shayne Larson (Katie) of Stanton, IA and Jared Larson of Maryville, MO; his great grandchildren, Sloane Larson and Pryor Larson; his sisters, Sue Harris (Bo) of Red Oak and Sharon Reynolds of Franklin, KY; and his siblings-in-law, Joy Davis of Litchfield Park, AZ, Philip Brownsberger (Barb) of Council Bluffs, IA, Judy Wilson (Max) of Litchfield Park, AZ, Paul Brownsberger of Atlantic, IA, Cecilia "Jo" Stowe of Flagstaff, AZ and Stephanie Bessire (Michael) of Ada, OK. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews.
