He was predeceased by: his parents, Harold Edward and Josephine Johnson (Frelinger); his wife Verna Lorraine Young; and his sister Mary Chase. He is survived by: his children, Wendy Lynette Michel (Bill) of Harrison, Douglas Earl Johnson (Janet) of Elliott, David Paul Johnson (Chris) of Brookline and Michael Todd Johnson of Harvest, Alabama; and his grandchildren, Rachel Shutte (Ryan), Robin Hansen (Dan), Alison Miles (Mike), Blaine Hansen, Jessica McCunn (Cody), Brett Johnson (Stacy), Kyle Johnson (Jordan), Brock Johnson (Joleen), Danielle Thompson (Justine), Adrianne Johnson, Adian Johnson and Tyler Clarke. He is also survived by twenty great-grandchildren and several beloved nieces and nephews.
