It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Curtis Lynn Franzen of Elliott, Iowa, born in Clarinda, Iowa, who passed away on March 12, 2023, at the age of 68, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Dean Franzen and Wilma Franzen (Chubbick); his brother Larry Franzen; his brother-in-law Butch Miller; and his parents-in-law, Jake and Jan Miller.
He is survived by: his wife Sherry Franzen of Elliott, Iowa; his children, Jennifer Sherman (Jeff) of Fleming Island, Florida, Josh Franzen of Elliott, Iowa, Joel Franzen (Laura) of Kathleen, Georgia, Jacque Howell (Eric) of Elliott and Jesse Franzen (Emma) of Oskaloosa, Kansas; and his sister Cheryl McArdle (Mark) of Des Moines, Iowa. He is also survived by 13 grandchildren, many nieces, nephews, and other relatives and friends.
