It is with great sadness that we announce the death of William Peter Jorgensen (Elkhart, Iowa), born in Casey, Iowa, who passed away on October 18, 2021, at the age of 85, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Carl Jorgensen and Sarah Jane Jorgensen; and his brothers, Dick and Jerry. He is survived by: his wife Shirley Cain; his children, Jim Jorgensen (Kathleen) and Cathy Gearhart (Mike); his grandchildren, Sarah Jorgensen, Dr. Carlyn Jorgensen, Kaitlin Jorgensen, Ben Gearhart and Meg Goodman (Derik); and his great grandchildren, Levi and Carson Goodman.
