He was predeceased by: his parents, William Frederick, and Edith Frederick, Sr. (Satterlee); his wife Carolyn Frederick; his sisters, Geraldine Bagley and Shirley Barkley; his parents-in-law, Leonard and Anna Thompson; his siblings-in-law, Richard Bagley, Billie Barkley, Audrey Miller and Eleanor Goetsch; his niece Sue Ann Foster; and his great-nephew Christopher Miller.
He is survived by: his daughter Vicki Moeckly (Ike); his granddaughters, Gina Wasko (Brian) and Alyson Whalen (Steve) of Coon Rapids, MN; his great grandchildren, Chloe Whalen, Carter Whalen, Max Vernon, Colette Whalen, Cooper Pratt and Stone Pratt; his stepgreat-grandchildren, Rosie, Maddie and Owen Wasko; and his siblings, Patty Schiefer (John) and Raymond Frederick (Linda). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
