He was predeceased by: his parents, Mercer Nicholson and Dollie Nicholson; his wife Shirley Erickson; his daughter Bonnie Romesberg; and his brother Rex Nicholson.
He is survived by: his daughter Deborah Jacobs (Tom Miller); his grandchildren, Tina (Joe), Rizer (KY), Yvette (Floyd), Shipman (OH), Bobbi Jaye (Greg), Guardalabene (KY), Adam Jacobs (Lisa) and Mark David Jacobs (FL); and his sister-in-law Judy Nicholson. He is also survived by 10 great-grandchildren, 15 great-great-grandchildren.
Memorial contributions may be made to Cory Grove Church or St. Jude Children's Hospital.
