As we bid farewell to this cherished soul, solace is taken in the memories held dear — the laughter shared, the wisdom imparted, the moments of quiet reflection in their presence. Though Chris may no longer walk among us, her spirit lives on in the echoes of her kindness, the warmth of her embrace, and the light of her enduring love.

She was predeceased by: her parents, William Cook (Bill) and Betty Cook; and her brother Lawrence. She is survived by: her husband Lynn Schreurs; her daughter Wendy Hockensmith (Larry); her grandchildren, Tyson and Kira Hockensmith; and her aunt Nancy Myers of Grand Junction, CO. She is also survived by two brothers-in-law and two sisters-in-law, many cousins, nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews.

Chris Schreurs died peacefully in her home on June 19, 2024, surrounded by her loving family after a 22-year struggle with Parkinson's Disease.
