He was predeceased by: his parents, Gladys Ellen (Hammond) and John William Robbins; his son John Paul; his grandchildren, Lylina Ann Dittmer (Robbins), Cheyenne Robbins and Willy Crane; his grandson-in-law Doug Dittmer; his sisters, Martha Marrah and Cleo Nightingale; and his brothers-in-law, Lavern, Melvin Gibbs, Dale Nightingale and Dean Proctor.
He is survived by: his wife Gloria Ann; his children, Harry "Bud" Jr. Robbins (Paulette) of Cheney, Lyle R. Robbins Jr. (Stacy) of Dyersville, Iowa, Sadie Ellen Robbins of Mesa and Bonnie Ann Stifel of Postville, Iowa; his grandchildren, Erin Jo Dittmer Hauser, Luke, Natalie, Alyssa, Ezra Robbins, Buddy Robbins, Bobby Robbins (Alysha), Brandy Casket (Damon), Adam Crane (Jen), Mariya Raborn (Tim), Ashley Beckman (Lori), Amber Santoyo, Pixly Robbins, Lawrence Robbins, Chuck Kinzie (Andi), Donnie Kinzie (Kim), Angel Kinzie and B. J. Kinzie; his sister Celia Proctor of Neosho, Missouri; and his siblings-in-law, Lorraine LaGrange of Cedar Rapids, Carol Gibbs of Monticello, Barb Gibbs of Waterloo, Iowa and Joe Marrah of DeLand, Florida. He is also survived by forty-two great-grandchildren; seven great great-grandchildren; and many beloved nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, November 26th 2024 from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Peace United Church of Christ (301 N Main St, Elkader, IA 52043). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, November 26th 2024 from 11:30 AM to 12:30 PM at the same location. A graveside service was held on Tuesday, November 26th 2024 from 12:45 PM to 1:00 PM at the Mederville Cemetery (31822 Evergreen Rd, Elkader, IA 52043).
