Carl Irving Wessel Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Carl Irving Wessel (Elkader, Iowa), who passed away on September 26, 2018, at the age of 87, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his wife Donna; and his sister Leona Lewin (Chuck). He is survived by: his children, Jane Metcalf (John) of Elkader, Alane Swales (Roger) of Strawberry Point and Greg Wessel (Angie) of Waverly; and his grandchildren, Lindsay Cota (Clint), Johanna Fricano (Pat), Molly Gill (Austin), Ryan Swales (Lindsey), Allison Wessel, Madeline Wessel, Donovan Wessel and Jonathan Wessel. He is also survived by twelve great grandchildren, and many friends.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to Central Community Schools Music Department, Central Community Schools Athletic Boosters, Central Community Ambulance or the Opera House Players.
