He was predeceased by: his parents, James Standiford and Minerva Standiford; his son Michael; and his siblings, Paul, Daniel, Roger and Barbara Dripps (Standiford).
He is survived by: his wife Maria Groh; his sons, Jimmy Standiford (Mary) and Phillip Standiford (Jole); his grandchildren, Nicole Sivertsen (Damon), Dustin Elin (Colleen), Adam Standiford (Carolyn), Allison Federspiel (Scott) and Danton R. Burkett (Zoey); and his siblings, David, John, Jim, Morris, Sharon, Marilyn and Linda. He is also survived by 11 great grandchildren, many nieces and nephews.
