He is survived by: his children, Cindy LaDuke (Alfred) of Earling, IA, Bill Kohnekamp, Jr. of Elk Horn, IA, Michelle Lima of Denison, IA and Sarah Lyesinger (Buddy) of Ute, IA; his stepchildren, Ryan Vermeys (Tess) of Spirit Lake, IA, Alicia Watkins (Brenton) of Grimes, IA and Chad Vermeys (Mindi Terrell) of Urbandale, IA; and his brothers, Herman Kohnekamp (Nancy) of Kiron, IA and Vernon Kohnekamp of Dow City, IA. He is also survived by 13 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren, many nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.
