He was predeceased by: his parents, William Hartranft and Margaret Hartranft (Moran); and his stepdaughter Deborah Boettger. He is survived by: his wife Beverly Hartranft of Elk Horn; and his stepchildren, Steven Logelin (Bonnie), Christine Beavers (Ralph) and Louis "Skip" Smith Jr. (Phyllis). He is also survived by 13 step grandchildren; 30 step great grandchildren; 2 step great great grandchildren; numerous nieces and nephews; other relatives and friends.
