It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Mark James Melanson of Elk Horn, Iowa, born in Quincy, Massachusetts, who passed away on July 6, 2020, at the age of 62, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Ralph Melanson and Helen Melanson (Walsh); and his siblings, Peter Melanson and June Melanson. He is survived by: his children, Emily Melanson of Elk Horn, IA, Jason Melanson (Kristen) of Elk Horn and Christopher Melanson (Kelsie) of Griswold, IA; his wife Jodi Lynn Gorichs; and his siblings, Lauren Sparks, Gary Melanson, Bruce Melanson and Bryan Melanson. He is also survived by six grandchildren; and other relatives and friends.
