Ruth Plote Obituary
We are sad to announce that on July 29, 2013, at the age of 87, Ruth Plote (Elgin, Iowa) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her husband Martin; her daughter Deborah Hughes; and her brother Edmund Stumme. She is survived by: her son James M. Plote of South Elgin; her granddaughter Sarah Walker (Eric) of Geneva; her great grandchildren, Zoe Walker and Hannah Walker; her nieces and nephews, Linda Rusenovich (Tony) of Elgin, Beverly Forester of Eugene, OR, Phillip Stumme of Elgin, Paula Rusenovich, Jana Rusenovich, Michael Rusenovich and Robert Rusenovich; and her friend John Judd of South Elgin.
In lieu of flowers memorials may be given to St. John's Lutheran Church or Lutheran Hour Ministries.
