It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Phyllis A. Aguirre (Elgin, Iowa), who passed away on March 21, 2018, at the age of 85, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Walter Batt and Helen Giertz Batt; and her brother Rod Batt. She is survived by: her children, Andrew Aguirre (Kim), Steven Aguirre (Marsha), Georgeann Aguirre and Laura Stone (Kevin); and her sisters, Lois Cosgrove and Carol Homuth.
