He was predeceased by: his parents, Carl A. and Lorraine Brammer Peterson. He is survived by: his wife Carol Latina Peterson; his granddaughters, Grace, Emma, Maggie and Jordyn; and also, Carl A. Peterson (Michelle) and Charles Peterson (Melinda).

In lieu of flowers memorials may be given to the JourneyCare Hospice Foundation.
