We are sad to announce that on April 26, 2018, at the age of 84, Alice Louise Boyes Garnavillo Iowa (Elgin, Iowa) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her husband Ivan; her daughter Lynette Wilson; her parents, Elmer Schutte and Marie Schutte; her brothers, Eugene Schutte and Lloyd Schutte; and her siblings-in-law, Clarine Schutte, Gayle Torkelson, Otis Torkelson and Dean Torkelson.
She is survived by: her children, Eleanor, Bruce Torkelson (Sue) of Waukon and Dirk Torkelson (Cindy) of Elgin; her son-in-law Bob Wilson of Decorah; her grandchildren, Erin Bunge (Jesse), Kyle Torkelson (Aubrey Boubelik), Jerrod Torkelson (Royale), Brandon Torkelson and Cody Torkelson; her great grandchildren, Theodore Torkelson, Oliver Torkelson and Baby Bunge; and her sisters-in-law, Carol Torkelson of Lisle and Lillian Schutte of Postville. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to Alzheimer's Association, Elgin Lutheran Church, Gundersen Tomah Hospice and Stoney Brook Villiage.
