He was predeceased by: his parents, William F. Erps and A. Lois Erps (Knaack); his sister Marilyn May Depew; his granddaughter Kathryn Gillespie; and his nephew Steven May.
He is survived by: his wife Joan Madden; his daughters, Sheila Gillespie (Rusty) of Kennesaw and Georgia; his grandson Brett Gillespie of Atlanta; his daughters, Rhonda Erps of North Aurora, Illinois and Brenda Zogg (Brad) of Blue Grass; and his granddaughter Molly Adair (Cory) of Davenport.
In lieu of flowers memorials are suggested to the North Scott Community Y or the Scott County Library.
