He is survived by: his wife Amy Pillard; his son Eren Simpson of Eldridge, IA; his sister Tracey Ring of Bettendorf, IA; his niece Sara Chapman of Eldridge, IA; and his great-nephews, Gage McClain, Damien Panozzo, Brasil Meneses and Lluvia Meneses.
