Shirley Stoltenberg Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Shirley Stoltenberg of Eldridge, Iowa, born in Eaton, Colorado, who passed away on October 8, 2020 at the age of 79. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, John Nazarenus and Zelma Nazarenus (Waits); and her siblings, Helen Cockren, Betty Combs, Johney and Jimmy Nazarenus.
She is survived by: her son Douglas; her husband Donald Stoltenberg of Eldridge; her children, Cindy Hall of Bettendorf and Doug Stoltenberg (Kathy) of LeClaire; her grandchildren, Nathan Stoltenberg (Allie) of Elgin, William Hall of LeClaire, Jessica Cauwels (Clinton Fanning) of Wilton and Russell Stoltenberg (Tessa) of Maquoketa, Iowa; her great grandchildren, Larry, John, Lyndsey, Remington, Gunnar and Lia; and her sisters, Jeanie Korte of Florida and Elaine Nazarenus of Florida. She is also survived by the sixth child of seven, with two brothers and four sisters.
Those attending are asked to observe social distancing and masks are required.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to the Lymphoma Society, Faith Lutheran Church, or to the Oncology Department at the University of Iowa Hospital.
