It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Richard F. Wannepain of Eldridge, Iowa, who passed away on December 8, 2022, at the age of 86, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Alfred Wannepain and Elizabeth Wannepain (Cabor); his former wife Frieda Giese; his wife Shirley Darland; his daughter Penny; and his siblings, Joan Roeyn and Al Wannepain.

He is survived by: his daughter Judy Mathias (Dan) of LeClaire, IA; his grandchildren, Cassandra and Andrew Mathias; and his sister Lucille Clark of Macon, MO..
