He was predeceased by: his parents, Carl Soenksen and Elsie Soenksen (Kuehl); his siblings, Richard "Dick", Floyd, Lynn Soenksen, Ruth Soenksen and Jeanette Eastman; his brother-in-law John Eastman; his nephew Rick Soenksen; his niece Tanya Soenksen; the mother of his children Carol; and also Carol.
He is survived by: his wife Norma of Eldridge; his son Allan Soenksen (Joy) of Goose; his sister JoAnn Greve (Dale) of DeWitt; and his sisters-in-law, Ann Soenksen and Judy Soenksen. He is also survived by 8 stepchildren and numerous step grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Grace Lutheran Church, DeWitt, or charity of choice.
